There is no single best pre-IPO fund - there is the one that matches your eligibility, ticket size and tolerance for illiquidity. This page compares the main options on the criteria that actually determine outcomes.

How to judge a pre-IPO fund
Four criteria, in this order. Can it serve you - eligibility and jurisdiction eliminate most options immediately. What you own - the security itself, a unit in a vehicle, or shares of a fund. Total cost over the hold - not the headline fee but the stack, compounded across the years you will be committed. Inventory - whether it can actually source the companies you want.
Why we do not rank one pre-IPO fund as best
Any ranking that ignores your eligibility is marketing. A provider that is excellent for a US accredited investor writing $250,000 is irrelevant to a retail investor in another jurisdiction with $5,000. We would rather narrow honestly to what fits you than crown a winner.
Risk disclosure
Pre-IPO and private securities are illiquid and speculative. You may lose the entire amount invested. There is no guarantee of an IPO or any other exit, valuations are indicative rather than transactable marks, and future rounds can dilute or reprice your stake. This page is general information, not advice about your circumstances.
